SUMMER LEAGUE & JUNE MINI-CAMP PLANS –   We held our informational meeting last night to discuss both of these opportunities.  Thank you to all who attended.  If you were unable to attend or if anyone has questions, please email Coach Steib for assistance.

Our two-week summer camp will be held during the weeks of July 17-20 and 24-27 (Monday through Thursday during these two weeks).  The group participating in the summer league (see above) will have camp from 7:00-9:00am.  All other players will attend camp from 9:00-11:00am.  Registration will be handled by the BHS Summer School office and is now available.

Tryouts for all five of our teams will be held on August 7th, 8th and 9th (and possibly 8/10, if needed).  Any players hoping to play for any of our five teams (Varsity, JV1, JV2, Freshman Red or Frosh-Soph) will need to attend tryouts in order to have the best chance of being placed on a team.  We do see as many as 120-140 players attend our tryouts, so unfortunately we are not able to offer everyone a roster position (we do cut players).  All sophomores, juniors and seniors who do not attend tryouts will likely be unable to be offered a roster spot on any team if they are not at tryouts.  Additionally, please be aware that once teams are announced, we will have practices between the tryout dates and when school starts (August 21st) therefore, families should NOT plan any vacations between tryouts and the start date for school.  Times and locations have been posted on the tryout link, however please be aware that while field locations could change, these dates are set and you can mark them on your calendars.

We will hold a MANDATORY meeting for all players who are named to any team in our program.  Please save the date for our Code Meeting which will take place on Monday, August 14th at 7:00pm.  The meeting will be held in the BHS Auditorium  All players and at least one parent must attend in order for players to be eligible for participation in our games.  More information will be shared through email blasts, and a flyer will be sent home with the boys during the week of tryouts… for now, please SAVE THE DATE!

Should you have any questions or need anything related to anything above, please email Head Coach Scott Steib at ssteib@barrington220.org  for assistance.
